The Castilleja Tenuflora or Lipidium Meyenii and even Horney Goat Weed are other names applied to this species which is used to correct ED (erectile dysfunction) courtesy of this specific herb which is used in clinics in Latin America & Mexico.

Castilleja tenuiflora is one of the Mexican, wild and medicinal plants cultivated in vitro that present anti-inflammatory and antiulcerogenic biological activity. The encapsulation of microcuttings is an option to propagate and prolong the storage of this plant. The objective of this study was to establish a method for the encapsulation and conservation of C. tenuiflora microcuttings without affecting the content of its compounds.
